MiTek’s mission is to help our partners build better, smarter and faster. That’s why we’re proud to introduce our Design-Make-Build methodology that does just that.
At its core, MiTek’s Design-Make-Build is about bringing people and technology together, and stimulating collaboration between technical consultants, architects, engineers and builders.
This not only increases efficiency but also fosters innovation. It opens up new possibilities for what we can achieve, and together we pave the way for more sustainable and cost-effective construction.
Design
In the Design phase, we can use MiTek’s tools to create a holistic view of the project. By planning for prefabrication at an early stage, we not only create a blueprint for construction, but develop a strategy that minimizes waste, reduces costs and optimizes the entire process.
Laying this foundation for the project means that each subsequent step – from Make to Build – is carefully planned and executed, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to completion.
Make
Moving on to the Make phase, we bring in automation and prefabrication. Here, high-quality components are manufactured with precision and speed. MiTek’s collaboration with hundreds of component manufacturers means that each part fits perfectly when it arrives on site. It’s all about making parts ready for assembly, reducing on-site labor and speeding up project timelines.

Build
The Build phase is where our approach really delivers. With components designed and manufactured to exact specifications, on-site assembly becomes a streamlined process. Materials are optimized, waste is minimized and the time required on site is significantly reduced. Roof trusses, wall panels and floor joists are delivered ready to assemble.
A vision for the future
Our Design-Make-Build approach is more than a process – it’s a movement towards smarter, more sustainable building practices. By moving decisions from the physical to the virtual world, we can reduce waste and create greater value. It’s not just the future of construction; it’s the present.
